Share Your Opinions. Take Our Survey!
The Oregon Community Foundation is developing an extraordinary
new Regional
Action Initiative, to make a long-lasting
impact in communities throughout Oregon.
Regional Action Initiative Goals
- Create beneficial, long-lasting change for communities
through RAI projects
- Foster innovation throughout the process
- Increase Leadership Council and OCF awareness
of regional needs
- Increase citizen engagement in philanthropy and
awareness of OCF
- Create stronger Leadership Councils with improved
regional and intra-Leadership Council ties
- Leverage resources for the initiative
There are very different and significant needs in each region and
this survey will help us collect a broad range of ideas from a diverse group
of people to shape the Regional Action Initiative.
Survey Goals:
- Gather information from Oregon residents to provide a regional perspective
on critical needs facing our communities.
- Obtain a better understanding of the regional or statewide non-profit
organizations that could assist in addressing the critical needs.
Share your opinions by completing a brief on-line
survey. All of
the questions are optional.
You can also help by encouraging others to participate in the survey. Copy

Seven regions – Central Oregon, the Coast, Eastern
Oregon, the Northern Willamette Valley, Portland Metro, Southern
Oregon, and
the Southern Willamette Valley – will each be given $1 million
to distribute over a three-year period.
Regional Leadership Councils will guide
the process, convening a diverse group of community members to
focus on a region-wide issue. View a list of Leadership
Council Members for your area of the state.
Community members decide the strategy, determine
the needs, identify responsive projects, and distribute the funds.
